About Me.
I'm Sareeta Domingo, a writer and hopeful-but-realistic romantic (with a desperate need to qualify things). Born in Camberwell, South East London, I spent my formative years in Bahrain, when my family moved there for my father's job. I work as an editor at an imprint of Harper Collins that is legendary for its romantic fiction (hint hint) by day, and squeeze writing into my mornings, evenings and weekends (while doing loads of other really interesting stuff too, obviously...)
Having been commissioned to write erotic short stories published in compilations for Agent Provocateur, and then an erotic novella for Pavilion Books, I turned my hand to pursuing a (not quite so erotic, but sexy, emotional, tension-filled) story that had been on my mind for as long as I can remember. This became my first full-length novel, THE NEARNESS OF YOU (Piatkus, May 2016).
I write occasional reviews of contemporary romance books on my blog, The Palate Cleanser:

And until mid-2021, I also shared a Book of the Week every Thursday, 845-9am on the Morning Mari* Breakfast show on Worldwide FM (worldwidefm.net/), archived on this very website here:

In a full-circle manner, I now live back in South East London, with my husband, my cat, and my daydreams.
