I'm Sareeta Domingo, a writer and hopeful-but-realistic romantic (with a desperate need to qualify things). Born in Camberwell, South East London, I spent my formative years in Bahrain, when my family moved there for my father's job. I work as an editor at an imprint of Harper Collins that is legendary for its romantic fiction (hint hint) by day, and squeeze writing into my mornings, evenings and weekends (while doing loads of other really interesting stuff too, obviously...)
Having been commissioned to write erotic short stories published in compilations for Agent Provocateur, and then an erotic novella for Pavilion Books, I turned my hand to pursuing a (not quite so erotic, but sexy, emotional, tension-filled) story that had been on my mind for as long as I can remember. This became my first full-length novel, THE NEARNESS OF YOU (Piatkus, May 2016).

Sareeta Domingo is the author of If I Don't Have You (Jacaranda Books, 2020), The Nearness of You (Piatkus/Little,Brown, 2016), and creator, editor and contributing writer of romantic fiction anthology Who's Loving You (Trapeze, 2021). She has also written numerous erotic short stories and an erotic novella with Pavilion Books. Her books for Young Adults are published under S.A.
